These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Nafsi (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the App or attempt to disrupt its operation.
Quranic text, translations, and references provided in the App are offered for educational and devotional purposes. Sources are clearly attributed where applicable. We do not claim exclusive ownership of the Quranic text.
You retain ownership of content you create within the App (such as reflections or notes). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content solely to provide the service.
The App offers free and premium tiers. Free features include unlimited journal entries and reflections. Premium features, including stats tracking, calendar view, data export, and cloud backup, require an active subscription.
Premium access is available through auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase, processed via Apple's In-App Purchase system.
New users may receive a free trial period for premium features. The trial begins when you complete onboarding. After the trial ends, premium features will be locked unless you subscribe.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Subscription prices may change. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect and will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.
The App may request permission to send local notifications for daily reminders, streak alerts, and motivational prompts. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through the App's settings or your device's system settings. All notifications are generated locally on your device.
Premium subscribers may export their journal data from the App. Exported data is provided as-is, and you are responsible for the storage and security of exported files once they leave the App.
The App may link to or display content from third-party services (such as Quran.com). The App also uses RevenueCat for subscription management and Resend for email delivery of support requests. We are not responsible for third-party content, websites, or services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
The App, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by the developer Allie Smitheram and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App is intended for personal spiritual reflection and does not constitute religious advice or guidance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss resulting from device failure or app uninstallation.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but locally stored data remains on your device.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
